About the CTDG Dev Hub

What is CTDG Dev Hub?

CTDG Dev Hub is the official collaboration platform operated by Cointelegraph Decentralization Guardians (CTDG).

It connects developers, validators, and blockchain networks around real technical upgrades, governance proposals, and ecosystem coordination.

Here, contributors can:

  • Publish and develop proposals for network improvements

  • Collaborate on technical and governance discussions

  • Track upgrade progress - from concept to live deployment

  • Exchange feedback, code, and ideas across ecosystems

CTDG Dev Hub makes blockchain governance transparent, traceable, and open to verified participants.

Who operates the Dev Hub?

The Dev Hub is maintained by CTDG, a Cointelegraph initiative focused on advancing decentralization, validator coordination, and blockchain transparency.

Our goal is to bring structure and visibility to how networks evolve - powered by the people who build and validate them.

Who can use CTDG Dev Hub?

Anyone interested in blockchain development, validator operations, or governance may explore and read proposals.

To submit proposals or comment, users must have a verified account associated with one of the following roles:

  • Developer

  • Validator

  • Network Representative

Verification ensures quality discussions and protects against spam or low-quality submissions.

Proposals & Contributions

What is a proposal?

A proposal is a structured idea or technical initiative aiming to improve a blockchain network - such as a protocol upgrade, validator optimization, or governance mechanism.

Each proposal moves through several stages:

Submitted → Reviewed → Building → Ready-for-Network → On-Vote → Approved/Deployed → Archived/Rejected.

How do I submit a proposal?

  1. Apply for a verified contributor account (developer, validator, or network role).

  2. Once approved, go to the Proposals section and click New Proposal.

  3. Include:

    • A clear title and summary

    • A detailed problem statement and proposed solution

    • Technical specifications (architecture, dependencies, testing plan)

    • Estimated timeline and impact

  4. Select the relevant network (assigned or verified by moderators).

Our moderators will review your submission for clarity and accuracy before publication.

Who reviews proposals?

Proposals are reviewed collaboratively by:

  • CTDG Moderators - ensuring structure, format, and categorization

  • Validators & Developers - providing technical or governance feedback

  • Network Representatives - confirming alignment with the network’s roadmap

This process ensures that every upgrade is technically sound, community-driven, and publicly documented.

How is proposal progress tracked?

Each proposal has a status tag that reflects its current lifecycle stage:

  • Submitted: awaiting initial review

  • Reviewed: under active discussion

  • Building: in development or testing

  • Ready-for-Network: finalized and prepared for on-chain submission

  • On-Vote: under DAO or governance vote

  • Approved / Deployed: successfully implemented

  • Rejected: declined or closed

Status updates are managed by CTDG moderators in coordination with proposal authors.

Networks & Validators

Which networks are currently supported?

CTDG Dev Hub initially supports validator and governance coordination for:

  • Canton Network, Polkadot, Coreum, Chiliz, Tron, Solana, Cosmos, Aleo and others

Additional networks will be added through partnerships and validator onboarding programs.

What are “network tags”?

Each proposal is linked to a network tag (e.g., Canton, Polkadot, Arc).

Tags are assigned by moderators to ensure proper categorization - contributors cannot self-tag networks.

If your proposal relates to a specific chain, mention it in your submission notes.

Community & Conduct

What are the community rules?

We encourage open, respectful, and constructive dialogue.

All users must follow the CTDG Dev Hub | Community Guidelines, which includes:

  • Respecting other contributors’ opinions

  • Providing technical and fact-based feedback

  • Avoiding spam, harassment, or off-topic posts

  • Reporting violations responsibly

Our moderators maintain a professional environment where collaboration and innovation thrive.
